Am in the legal profession. I have been in the zone where I was planning for planning's sake - it was becoming a hobby and not a very productive one. Now, I have managed to break out of that funk and get into the sort of planning that gets things done smoothly and faster in my life so that I have more time liberated for other activities. Planning no longer overtakes my life; but planning is crucial to managing my life.
