Time Logging/Tacking Sheet

I was looking for a way to track my time, only by putting x's and made this template.

Paper size:
A4
Thumbnail:
Thumbnail.JPG
Usage advice:

On top you note down the tasks or projects you are working on, and you only have to put a x every quarter under the task.

I added the excel sheet also, so you can modify it to suit your needs.

To Do Checklist (Letter)

A very simple letter sized To Do checklist.

Paper size:
Letter
Thumbnail:
To Do - Letter Thumbnail.png
Usage advice:

I struggled with resizing the classic sized To-Do list PDF file to get a good fit on the page, so I created my own simple checklist.

The PR column is for priority.
The ACTION column is for the task.
The DATE ENT is the date the task was entered.
The DATE DUE is the date the task is due.

I use this for work action items, and I use it as a running list so all of my tasks are in one place. When all of the items are completed, I archive the list in my files in case I need to refer back to it (which I have).

Tracking items on loan

This template is to help you keep track of things like DVDs or books that you might lend to friends so you can remember who has what.

Paper size:
Classic (5.5 x 8.5)
Thumbnail:
on-loan.gif
Usage advice:

This is a pretty standard classic 2-up template. I use the loaned/returned boxes to track dates and the item check box to indicate the item is back. The 'who' and 'num' boxes should be who has the item and of course the 'item' box should be what you have on loan!

Unofficial Projects & Tasks Templates for Excel

A series of Excel spreadsheets designed for project and task management. May be used digitally or in print.

Paper size:
Letter
Usage advice:

Allows you to type it up and copy/paste for status reports.

Microsoft Excel spreadsheets...
- Print them out blank to write on during the day.
- Occasionally type them up (helps clean up the data too!)
- Copy/Paste to create a Weekly Status or Project Tasks report.

These are my personal forms and are regularly changed. They are not "production" ready and may need some tweaking. They are also better on a color printer since I use mostly red and blue pens.

Note: I was able to open in OOo Chart, copy/paste into Draw (8.5x11), and then still edit with colors, but it would need a bit of cosmetic tweaking.

Unschedule - Daily - Procrastination

You can use this as an ordinary Day Keeper, but it's meant to be an "Unschedule". Unscheduling a week per page isn't enough room for me. Includes check-boxes and room for notes.

Paper size:
Classic (5.5 x 8.5)
Usage advice:

To use this as an Unschedule:

* If you have an important project that you've been procrastinating, schedule in *everything but* that project first, including breaks, meals, and so on. This will give you a realistic idea of how much time you actually have available.

* Once you've done the above, you can use the available time to work.

* Record your work on the project. Total it up at the end of each day.

Tips:

* Concentrate on *starting*. The sooner you do that, the better you'll feel. The first fifteen minutes or so is always the hardest. Just push through it.

* Schedule lots of breaks.

* Don't schedule in any work blocks until you've actually done your first one.

* I recommend using this along with a "Habit Tracker," where you can record your consistent usage of the unschedule, and your daily amount of work. This helps give the kind of overview you get from a weekly unschedule. Also, it's very motivating.

* Read The Now Habit by Neil Fiore.

Water/Sleep Tracker

Keep track of glasses of water and number of hours of sleep with this Hipster PDA template.

Paper size:
Index Card (3 x 5)
Thumbnail:
Usage advice:

Use this template to keep track of your water intake and sleep! Each card conveniently holds a week of data. Mark glasses of water as you drink them, and hours slept when you wake up. Connect daily columns with lines in order to see trends over a week, and lay several cards side-by-side to see trends over longer periods of time.

(As you can see, I've not been getting enough sleep or water lately... Meep!)

Wavy weeks

Month- or year-at-a-glance with days of the week following a sinusoidal curve. March-December 2010 on 12" square scrapbook-sized paper.
Created these pages to track baby milestones for a scrapbook but thought others might be interested in the "wavy weeks" (inspired by W. Bradford Paley's 2007 planner: http://wbpaley.com/brad/index.htm).

Paper size:
Other
Thumbnail:
Wavy weeks.png
Usage advice:

You can generate your own "wavy weeks" string using the linked Google spreadsheet (just change the dates in the first worksheet). Or make your own spreadsheet with dates in the first column and fill the second column with this formula: =CONCATENATE(REPT(" ",(3-ABS(WEEKDAY(A1)-4))*2),(DAY(A1)))
