MS Word 2007 Planner Classic Size Week on a page, Monday start

This is a basic planner with a week on a page.

Paper size:
Classic (5.5 x 8.5)
Usage advice:

Previously I used tables, but they're so difficult to format that now I'm just using tiny margins and putting in a page break between pages, so it should be easier to reformat and change if you prefer a Sunday start, for example. I print the week pages out in Landscape, 2 pages to a page, to one side of Letter paper and print the notes pages (at the end of the file) on the back of the pages, then cut the pages apart down the middle. I take them for spiral binding. They may also work for hole punching and placement in binders, maybe with wider inside gutters.
.
Warning: I've started using "A5" as shorthand for Classic or 8.5 x 5.5. Actually I'm in the US and use letter size paper and cut it down the middle (landscape orientation) to get Classic size.

Beware--The week of July 4 needs to be corrected. Sorry.

MS Word 2007 Classic one-page-per-day planner

Simple MSWord one-page-per-day 2007 planner.

Paper size:
Classic (5.5 x 8.5)
Usage advice:

One page per day, Classic size. Holidays are indicated. Hours 7am to 10pm are marked, but there are no lines. There are two Notes pages at the end of the file. You could use ClickBooks or some other software to deal with imposition--I was originally thinking I'd need a full day plus a notes page per day, so I was going to print this as two days per page and just print notes pages on the back of the day pages.

You might look through and make sure the dates are right--I've done so, of course, but another pair of eyes would be good.

I get some Classic size envelopes bound in, plus some pocket pages I make from light poster board, in order to have space for receipts, etc. If you get it spiral bound and use the pages, be sure to have them put in a spiral big enough to hold all the extra junk, and get a heavy vinyl or plastic cover--last year my cover came off in September. Otherwise I've been very happy with mine.

I added the "Cornell Notes" on the back for use during the meeting (as suggested by Joanna). I also have a version with just the Compact Meeting - 2up Front and Back. The original form post by chiz is here.

I agree that a Projects list is an important part of the GTD implementation. I read this forum thread and decided to create one. This is just the "Actions" page from the official v3 core package with the title changed to "Projects". It is setup for 2up printing front and back.

I found that I needed several kinds of checklists that didn't fit any of the titles that were in the core package. After reading this forum thread I decided to create a blank checklist. This is just the "Actions" page from the core package with the title removed. It is setup for 2up printing front and back.

2007 Monthly Calendar - 2 pages per month - IN PINK

This is actually courtesy of coolhands21 open source files - I just changed the font to "Bella" and the top part to pink to make it look more girly.

Paper size:
Classic (5.5 x 8.5)
Usage advice:

I believe he used a DIY template. I also deleted the US holidays because I am in Canada, I will add the Canadian Holidays... I just left the 'shared' holidays that I know of..

I like this layout - I am making my own planner (I am a scrapbooker) and have a weird 4 ring binder that I can't find inserts for.

Knitting Project Manager

A basic form for knitters to use in organizing projects. There are sections for keeping track of patterns, yarn, and needles as well as room for sketches, notes, and charting.

Paper size:
Classic (5.5 x 8.5)
Thumbnail:
Usage advice:

I'm not a graphic designer, so this isn't perfect, but the basic idea is that you can have your project info all on one page for quick reference. I like to have records of the projects I've done, and this form can be used as a record of past projects as well as an idea sheet for future knitting. The back of the form is knitter's graph paper for charting color or stitch designs.

Usage advice:

2007-dated classic-sized calendar in MS Word, for someone in need of more "to do" than appointment scheduling
(Warning: "girly" formatting!)
- Monthly format is two-pages-per-month, with space to record important dates, notes, and monthly to-do lists
- Weekly format is two-pages-per-week. The left side is labeled "To Do" and is for appointments, tasks, or general reminders. The right side is labeled "Done" for notes, information capture, historical recording, etc.

Home Roaster's Templates

This template is for homeroasters and coffee aficionados. The first page is a roasting schedule with a field on the left, CODE, for the roast code (think C = city, C+ = City+, FC = Full City, etc). The second form is an inventory list. They are both first drafts. Hopefully, I'll add a cupper's log later. What I've uploaded is a zip archive with both the printable PDF and the customizable odg files.

Paper size:

Authorization for Disbursement envelope

This template is printed on letter paper (8.5" x 11"), cut and folded into an envelope that fits into a Classic binder (5.5" x 8.5").

The envelope has a form on the front for users to list expenses for reimbursement, disbursement requests, and check payee and address information. There is also a place for 2 authorization signatures on the front form. The envelope includes instructions for use on the back as well as a large place for notes.

Paper size:
Classic (5.5 x 8.5)

Usage advice:

This form is the template of an envelope with forms printed on it. Print to 8.5" x 11" paper (landscape), cut, fold, punch, and store in Clasic size binder (5.5 x 8.5).

I use this form in an organization where I am the treasurer. Members complete it to submit receipts for reimbursement. Members also use it to request a check for something that has a quote or purchase proposal.

As an envelope and form in one, it is really handy for someone like an organization's treasurer or finance committee. It keeps signatures and receipts/quotes all together in one neat place and package.

The template here is simply titled "Authorization for Disbursement". In my customized version, I put the organization's name above the title and the organization's logo to the left of the title. That kind of customization gives the form a more official feel when the form is eventually used for official financial documentation.

Before I found this great site, I found myself becoming overwhelmed at times due to the great number of projects that I'd be working on at any given time. I created this form to help better track the projects that I work on.

I created this form to help me keep track of things that I have to do for projects I work on. I can make note of who/what it is for and figure out a priority listing for it. I list all of the things that are to be done and can check them off as I complete them. If I have to get some info from someone else, I can make a note so I can remember it. I can put notes on the back to keep track of things that need to be changed or whatever.

Business Expense/Mileage Logs

These forms are designed to work together. I used these forms (though not in DIYPlanner format) for a number of years, and can attest that they work. In fact, my accountant loved this format. :-)

I have to confess, however, that the basic format is not unique to me. In fact, this form is loosely based on a Dome book. However, I constantly worried about losing my Dome book. So, one year, when I couldn't find the Dome book in the store, I made my own forms that fit inside my DayTimer, and created a spreadsheet that would work with my own forms. I have now modified my forms yet again to take advantage of the Widget kit, and make them more general, and less specific to my needs, including adding extra categories, and leaving some blank lines for those who need even more categories.

I've enclosed instructions in the zip file.

Enjoy!

Check Register

I have been lurking around this site for a couple of months and finally decided that I would like to make an attempt to contribute to the cause. I don't have a lot of creativity, so I thought I would attempt to create something simple but useful. I noticed there was check register template for the hipster, but not in classic size. I actually created this template in Microsoft Word, then imported into PDF.

Please let me know if you find this template useful.
