Intrigued by Hipster PDA Concept

A friend of mine very recently introduced me to the D*I*Y Planner site and I have had great fun tonight reading thru many different posts. Prior to coming here I felt quite confident that I had found inner peace in the world of productivity. However, this whole Hipster PDA concept has me quite intrigued. Is it really as simple as buying a stack of 3 x 5 note cards, a binder clip and a pen?

My mind goes back to the day I purchased my first cane pole, spool of fishing line, pack of sinkers, and hooks. Fishing was simple then. However I quickly rose to the level of having multiple fishing rods & reels, tackle boxes, etc. to the point where I could have easily filled a second boat with just the gear.

I sense the Hipster PDA could be a trap. Yet, I am drawn to it like a moth to a flame...

The Salmon Of Knowledge...

Hi Bob

To use your fishing equipment analogy the hipster can be compared to Huck Finn's fishing pole whereas the hPDA V3 is a Hardy reel, a graphite rod and a hand tied Golden Sea Monkey. ;)
