Does anyone here own Levengers Majorca Laptop bag or has anyone seen it in person?
I just did a huge mess up. Levenger just had a huge sale on their outlet on leather briefcases, totes, laptop bags. They were on sale for 20% off but the sale was ending before the items ended, I'm guessing because Levenger doesn't want people to know how cheaply they sold for. Well they have two items that look almost identical in pictures the Majorca Laptop bag and the Majorca Tote. In a moment of insanity and because I was feeling rushed (because the sale was going to end any moment) and impulsive, I quickly bid on the Laptop bag thinking it was smaller then it was. I went back and realized I had just won a 17 inch wide bag, gulp. So I'm curious if anyone here owns one or has looked at one. Is it too big to carry on regular errands and on a day to day basis? Does it look ok when carried? How is it for carrying folios, notebooks. I was trying to get a bag that could carry my planner, journal, etc but thought the bag was 14 inches wide. The Tote is about that wide. Now I have to think of a way to break the news of my impulsive buy to my husband. When I saw a $298 bag on for under $60 I went kind of crazy, oops.

I wouldn't worry
If it is too big you should be able to sell it on e-bay for at least what you paid for it.
I agree and this is not that big a bag when one considers the
size of A4 or A3 paper.
If you don't want it sell it as a Vintage bag, and you will get even more money.
Great deal! It depends on how big you are
What a great deal! A 17" will carry about any laptop and/or a lot of stuff. I've seen one but passed on it because it wasn't deep enough for what I needed. I am a big guy so loading it up isn't a problem. But if you are short/petite it might be too big. the temptation is to load a bag up (the Field of Dreams theory). You might want to get a smaller one or find a porter who will carry it for you. It also looked like it could be bungeed onto an inexpensive luggage cart.
