I'm Baaaaaaaack !

Some of you folks may have notice a lack of me in the last week.

I was in the hospital.

I had subdural hematoma, the source of which I am not entirely certain, that were causing me to seriously space out, according to my wife.
I need this like I need a hole in my head. Well I now have 4 new holes in my head, and I'm feeling much better now.
I have an appointment on the 15th to get the stitches out, and between now and then, I am on sick leave.

The best part of that is that I plan to use my down time to work on the Dynamic Templates.

I have PNG export almost ready to go and I just found a request for icalender import, which has been on my to-do list.
This may be enough of a time chunk to tackle that.

My wife is being somewhat insistent about me not spending all my time in my basement 'puter room, but I still have my laptop !
I may not be able to participate in the forums as much as I want to, but I will be programming.

Glad you are doing ok

While we would love to see the Dynamics keep improving, we would rather see you keep improving. Subdural hematomas are serious business, do pay attention to your wife.

She is disappointed...

'cause the doctor said she could no longer beat me in the head

get better you silly man

As much as everyone wants more in the dynamic templates, you really do have to take care of your head. You are on sick leave because you are sick, not so you can work for free.

I'm glad to hear you are ok. Must have been pretty scary.

so true

I'm glad to hear that you're recovering.

Do take it easy and rest.

The site and the dynamic templates will be here after the 15th and there'll be many opportunities to do things then. But not at the risk of your health now!

I have no doubt we'd all feel very, very guilty if there was the slightest hint that your recovery took longer because of something you did for the site while on sick leave.

You should know that now you've told us (the motherly type organisers here) we'll be joining your wife and nagging you to behave and rest. :)

All the best

...take care of your health first! While it may be difficult--especially now that you told us, we can all be patient. ;-)

Take care of you first

that's the bottom line. Everything else can wait. You gotta think of the long haul and we want you here for the long haul!

OK, folks, I hear you

I will not try for any major additions for the Dynamics, but I will smooth out the templates I want to add to the application.

You cannot know how much your support means, and I would be a fool to ignore it.

All that being said...

... the electronic nagging has begun - one's health comes before dynamic "fun" and we know you know it. So, that being said... you also need to know you've been missed around here :^)

Glad you've come through well and have the opportunity to take some much-needed recuperation time.

Good health from this newbie

Ygor - we do not know each other and I am a newbie whom just joined yesterday, but I must say this -- please follow what your wife and doctors say and rest and get well soon and totally back on your feet. This was a serious call healthwise, so please heed all the good wishes and take it slowly bud.

regards Manny D.

many many huggles to you

many many huggles to you hun. Hope you are taking it easy, resting and mending well. <3

Update !!

I had a follow-up appointment with my doctor on Friday and he lifted most of my restrictions.
I am going back to work tomorrow and I could not be happier.
I was going stir-crazy !

So glad you are doing better. I always find it funny that I love being off work unless I'm told I have to be. Once I'm not allowed to work I can't wait to get back.

Here is to a good first day back.

There is NOTHING better than feeling better after being sick, is there?

So glad you're better

I have been consumed with work for several months now and not even had time to look at diyplanner never mind post. First glimpse today and I find that Ygor has not been well! So pleased that you are much better however make sure you look after yourself.
