Hi all! I've been lurking here for a good long while, but have never been moved to post. What finally inspired me was the desire to tell people here how very cool they are. It is such a pleasure to be in contact (even if it's only virtually) with so many creative and intelligent people.

For my part, I'm an educator and mother of a two-year old, struggling to figure out how to prioritise things in a social setup where "working mom" is more often than not a pejorative term.
