getting a nice thin line from a template

I have tried printing off a few templates from the site, but the lines all come out fairly thick. I am after a nice fine, fairly faint line for a planner page.

Is this a printer issue?

the Dynamic Templates ?
You can set the line thickness. That will tell you if it is your printer.
