Day Diary Template 2008 v1
Updated version on my original Day Diary Templates.
Not likely to be the last as I search for the 'perfect' solution.
Appointment Page on left hand side
Notes/Tasks Page on right hand side
Monthly Index Page added for special dates & a Notes page
It's not perfect but I hope they are of value to someone.
PDF Paper size = A4, page design is for Covey Compact
Printing : Print duplex double-sided printing.
Punch boarders: Center of the page where the page will be trimmed.
Trimming: Cut down center of A4, then trim off Note sections. Cut note sections in half again. These will take a set of three holes punched. (or turn vertical to take 6 holes, but lines will also be vertical)
Page Date Order: Cut page down center then flip LHS onto RHS to get the date order.
NB: I used the spare paper down the bottom of the page templates to create small note pages. I found that I was writing small info notes for other people and having to tear up a large note page or giving them a whole note page, so the little note pages were made.
I also found i wasn't finishing some of my tasks so I now use the Floating Actions page and move it across the dates as I need it.

A6 ?
If I remember my papers, A4 in half is A5, and A5 in half is A6
So these are A6, right ?
Now, the only downside to this is us folks to the west of the Atlantic. European paper sizes are rare and expensive.
If you are feeling ambitious, would you consider doing a version of this on US-Letter size ?

Compact Size
ygor, they are just slightly longer than A6.
Page size is based on the covey compact size. Very close to A6.
Page width = 4.25" or 10.5cm
Page length approx. = 6.75" or 17.1cm
I've some time off, so i'll see how i go with the US-Letter size
US Letter should be easier
It appears that this particular size (4.25x6.75) was designed for US Letter. 4.25 is exactly half of the width of US letter, and if you add the length of the size (6.75) with the width (4.25) you come out with 11 inches, which is the length of uS Letter, which means you can actually fit _three_ pages on US Letter with minimal loss. Granted, one page will have to lay on its side, and probably wouldn't be much desired in your case, but, if you were really desperate, you could _really_ cram this stuff in there. :-) I wouldn't want to be the one doing the layout, however. :-D But at least, you should have no problem using your original layout--vertical--with US Letter.
