Java Weekly Planner - Standard

Upon looking for templates to use for GTD, I was a bit disappointed with finding that there were some templates that were extremely useful, but lacked beautification!

Now I know, you're supposed to be productive and "beautifying" doesn't have anything to do with being productive, but I find that if what I'm work with is visually pleasing to me, I'm more likely to stick to it.

Hence the creation of the Java Weekly Planner. This is a weekly, undated planner with a separate space for each day of the week as well as an area for notes directly across from it.

I have created a whole series of these - they are available at my blog:

There are many GTD tips and articles there too.

This is my first template, and critiques are welcomed and encouraged. Thanks for looking!

Java template - LOVE IT!

This is a GREAT planner page! I absolutely LOVE the brown colors, the coffee picture and the fun fonts! I am not sure how I missed this when paging through the new templates... but, I am glad I found it today!

THANK YOU for submitting this fun and new template!

Java Smiles,

Oh so right

"beautifying" doesn't have anything to do with being productive, but I find that if what I'm work with is visually pleasing to me, I'm more likely to stick to it.

Agree 100%. The look of a planner is as important as the philospophy that underlies it. I've written in other posts here that I find the standard D*I*Y Planner pages to be visually distracting; too much black, rules too thick and heavy. My preference is for rules to be (light) grey and thin, which is why I'm using the filoFax Time Managment pages as they are just about right though some of the elements could do with alteration.

I like it

Are the font and graphic your creation or are they available online ?

Isn't that the Jane Austen

Isn't that the Jane Austen font?

Close but...

the lower case "D" does not loop the same way

A font named Windsong looks closer, but it is not an exact match

That's lovely! And I

That's lovely! And I disagree... aesthetics make the process so much more pleasant.
