classic 2-up printing

This has probably been mentioned before, but I'll post just in case. I've found that for classic 2-ups, it's easier for me to use templates that have 3/4-inch margins on the outsides of the page, and a 3/4-inch gutter between two identical bodies.
This way, I don't have to have a lefty template and a righty template. I can use the same template for both sides of the paper.
I probably didn't explain this very articulately, and my apologies also if this duplicates someone else's post.
