2008 Dated Weekly Calendar (2-up)

2008 Dated Weekly Calendar - 2 pages per week, Monday start, and includes small monthly calendars of current and next 2 months. Similar format to D*I*Y Planner weekly format. PDF and source files included. (This template was originally created by Kevin Sonnenberg. All I did was update it for 2008. There is a second .zip file that includes the American Holidays.)

Paper size:
Classic (5.5 x 8.5)

Usage advice:

This template will give you one week spread over two pages. It prints on standard 8.5" x 11" paper. When printing from Acrobat make sure your page scaling is set to "None". Cut each page in half (at 5.5").

Open Office Draw source file included - feel free to modify.

Fantastic!

Mucho effort went into this, and we are grateful for the effort!

Thank you!

And now on to print Xmas presents.

Thanks a bunch!

Awesome templates...I feel like my calendar looks sub-standard if I fill in dates by hand and didn't want to take time to update one onscreen myself. Thank you so much!

Templates translated

I just translated your wonderful templates into French. Posted and should appear very soon.

Beautiful!

Excellent job!

Great!

Thanks for updating this template. It looks great!

Thanks for all the kudos,

Thanks for all the kudos, everyone. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy... and appreciated, which is always nice. :)

Meta-mega-kudos go to Kevin S for creating the template in the first place. Also, when he created it, he figured out the complex duplexing so that the pages would print out correctly double-sided. So I'm linking back to the original templates because there is some discussion about printing in the thread.

Fixed typo

I found a typo. I had incorrectly labeled the week of Feb 11-17. Fixed typo and uploaded new .zip files.

Typos...

I just downloaded the Holiday version and found a number of typos. Weeks, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12... Looks like a lot of the evens. They seem to be labeled and or numbered wrong.

Not Really...

The pages are meant to be printed out double-sided. Once you do that, you'll see everything comes out correctly. Paging through the thing in Acrobat is _very_ confusing since you don't see the double-sided effect.

Oops

Sorry about that, I missed the whole - print it double sided and fold it in half thing. It makes more sense now - thanks.

Dynamic Version coming too!

No problem - it is confusing at first. Do be sure to cut the pages in half - not fold them.

Enjoy the template - it's the one I use, and love it.

For the record, ygor is supposed to be working this format into his weekly dynamic template program, so in the future we'll be able to print pages as we need them.

Be Well,
Reese

I am ?

Really ?

Looks like...

someone needs to update their to-do list or feature request on the project card for the Dynamic Templates. ;)

I know this great form if you don't already have a set.

Of Course!

I can Google for the post where you said you'd add it to your ToDo list if want - or you could - Google is your friend! LOL

And we know you wouldn't have anything to do that's more important than working on freeware for DIYPlanner...

All in good time, I know :)

LOVE this form

I absolutely LOVE this set up - place for appts and a place for to do items for each day of the week. This works so well for my job! LOVE IT and THANK YOU!

thank you!

Thanks for doing this. I cannot figure out ygor's template. (ygor, i know you have put a lot of work into and I should be able to figure it out but I'm a dufus. I bow to your greatness but it is about two stories over my head.) And I'm pregnant so have no brain cells left. (that's my current excuse anyway)

Yes, Thank you!

I just want to add my thanks for the update on this form. I've used it for 2007 and I'm with Nay Nay on it's perfectness. I love the smaller blocks for just a few set appts and todos. Much neater than a big open block for each day, and stuff sloppily written in.

Reese

How we looking for 2009, ygor? No pressure! *evil laughter*

Did you intend for some of

Did you intend for some of the weeks to be off? For example, starting with week 2 the left and right sides don't match up. This occurs about every other week. Am I missing something? It wouldn't be the first time.

Thanks
Bob

bob, it appears that you

bob,
it appears that you should print this two-sided. If you do that, as you flip the pages, it will be in the right order.

great template - now I need some help

First off, thanks for making this template. It's awesome and just in time for 2008. Now I think I need some help...

When I follow the directions and print with no scaling, the right hand side gets chopped off a bit. I've tried scaling, rotating, all kinds of stuff. Either part of the page gets chopped off or pages are too wide on the wrong side, or something. I'm running on MacOS/X 10.5.1 and have tried both the latest versions of Preview and Acrobat Reader. My printer is an HP PSC 1315 all-in-one (printer/scanner/copier).

I'm wondering if it might not be easier to just spend a few bucks over at Kinko's to get the printed on a laser printer that has margins that don't hate me, and then I can get it professionally chopped too.

2008 Weekly 2-Up BRILLIANT

Thank you for creating this... it's exactly what I was hoping to find and actually USE.

The effort put in is amazing and appreciated.

Happy New Year,

Day Number size 24

Is there any templare where we can change prooperties ??

You can download the .odg

You can download the .odg and personalize it -- change anything you would like. :) I personally add my family's birthdays into the .odg file and then print it.

Need Help Printing These :(

I get that these are supposed to be printed double sided, but for one, I can't them to fit on a page if I don't tell it to auto rotate and center, also, when I do that and double side print, it prints the opposite side upside down. What am I doing wrong?

I have to set my printer to

I have to set my printer to "Landscape" for it to print out correctly for me.

On my computer (Windows XP), I have to go into the "Properties" of the printer (after I press "print", I then press the "Properties" button"), I then select the "Page Setup" tab, and switch the radio button to "Landscape."

Rearrangement request

For those of us who have trouble getting the pages to print correctly, would it be possible to get this same layout but re-arranged in a simple same-week side by side format?

I know most of the weeks are like that, but page 14 for example contains the first half of Mar 30-Apr 6 and the last half doesn't show up until page 16. No matter how I print (single sided, double-sided, booklet) nor whether I fold or cut, I still can't get the two halves of this week to be next to each other like most of the weeks are.

I realize the fault may be my "pea brain" but since others are having similar difficulties we would be everlastingly grateful if an alternate page sequence version could be created.

Or can someone give me step-by-step instructions for printing? And, yes, my printer has automated double-sided copying (aka a duplexer).

I'd so much like to give this lovely layout a try! :-)

This layout was just what I

This layout was just what I was looking for. Kudos!

Two-Sided

Sorry but, how do I get it to print two sided? I know how to replace the pages in my particular printer. How do I do it so the pages will turn out in order and be two sided? I just want to print out from July to December. This is exactly what I want, if I can figure it out.
