Alternating margins

I'm trying to redesign a calendar template for a more european (actually ... French) feel : from 7 am to 8 pm, with french names for days and using a 24h clock (i.e 1pm is 13)
I've rescaled the widget kit to A5 paper, but I can't find anywhere in the support for OpenOffice how to set up alternating left and right margins ... It seems that format - page sets up the same margin everywhere .
As anybody got any pointers ?
thx in advance

Setting alternating margins in OOo WK
When I design templates, I set guidelines for even and odd pages that show the "safety zone", outside of which the rings will be -- measure this from an existing form, and add about 3-5 mm or so for printer variability. I do this manually, because I like to have full control over where everything on the page will go, and sometimes I have to nudge things around to make them fit the safety zone. While there's probably a way to set this up in OOo, I'd certainly advise using the guidelines. This all assumes you're using Draw -- if you're not, you can safely forget everything I just said. ;-)
all my best,

Alternating Margins in OOo Writer
This is definitely doable in Writer. From the Format menu, select Page... Set your margins as you want them for a front. Then, select Mirrored from the Page Layout dropdown box. Print out your odd numbered pages on the front of your paper and your even numbered pages on the back.
