Circa Portable Punch

So I recently got myself setup with circa. I'd been using top bound 3*5 notebooks for general to do lists and scratch paper for years, then realized how much of a hassle it is to rearrange and find stuff later when a notebook is full. I was flipping through a Levenger and it clicked. So I ordered the portable punch, a circaPDA for the covers and rings and whatnot, and a set of the tabs. This may expand to something larger at some point, but it really fits what's needed. The only complaint I have is a rather small one relating to the portable punch. I don't know if anyone else has done this, but here's what I'm looking at. Basically, there's that awesome latch that holds the thing closed, keeping it smaller and preventing smurfs from falling out when it's in a bag. Well, it apparently slid over to the locked position while I was using the punch, I happened to use a rather sharp motion to punch my index card, and the plastic bit on the latch snapped right off. It smashed into the metal bit that it latches onto and that was the end of that. Obviously, this doesn't hamper the ability to use the punch, but I would say it's something to be careful around. I'm not klutzy by any means but sure felt stupid when this happened. Anyway, hope this helps somebody out there and, if Rasmussen is listening, I hope this gets looked into.

Portable punch lock

Please drop me a PM so I can replace your punch. The locking mechanism is a pretty handy feature of the device.

I'd like to take a look at the broken bits if you still have them.

Ryan is da man !!

It's customer service like this that makes Levenger's rock !!

I wasn't fishing for a replacement, but I can't say I'm terribly surprised after seeing some of Ryan's other posts on here. I really enjoy levenger's products, have actually purchased stuff from them on occasion since I was in high school--I'm now 24--and honestly just wanted to mention something that seemed worthwhile. There's still quite a few things on my list to slowly purchase from Levenger as my disposable income allows.

Levenger's service

Levenger says right on their site

"The Levenger Guarantee
We promise to deliver quality and value in every Levenger product. If you are not 100% satisfied, please let us know and we'll make it right."

I've seen other companies make similar promises, but Levenger actually makes it happen.

As usual, Ryan is as good as his word. Received the replacement with the prepaid fedex label. Looks like it was sent out straight away and the replacement is perfect. Now I just have to watch myself and not repeat the same mistake.

and use two hands

Be careful when opening the portable punch slide with one hand. I received a nasty pinch and blood blister.

But still love my circa.

You have to...

rub their tummy first. Then they are less likely to bite.
