FWIW, the posts I have made that got flagged/delayed were ones with lotsa links.

My first reaction was 'great idea', however every one of my comments that has been marked as spam has had links in, and most comments I made with links in during the past 2 days or so have been marked as spam. Still though, I'll try it in future and see.

without trying to link-ify it

Multiple sites?
On the occasions when my comments have been marked as spam there have been several links embedded in the text. From the few that I can remember marking has been when I've given more than one link and the web hosts are different.

I very nearly did, but didn't want to create a new thread if one already existed. This came close enough. I think a single thread for posts mistakenly marked as spam would be nice, in the diy planner forum. Do you think that would be a good idea to do, or would separate threads be better?

You know, all of these
You know, all of these spammers should try selling us pens or planners or something instead of halloween costumes. That wouldn't be quite as bad then. That phrase seems to be a little strange for an item marked as spam. Can the filter be manually tweaked to remove some of the phrases we're triggering the filter on? Or does it just need training more with our valid comments? Then again, I'm reminded of the problems of coming up with manual ideas for filters. At my last job, my manager once said "All these spam emails seem to be pretty big, so how about we just filter out all of the emails bigger than a few hundred words?". I just nodded and smiled.
