Satellite Actions Cards

I want to give the satellite action cards a try but I'm having problems printing them two sided. My printer has an option to do that but the cards don't line up right. There is a quarter inch difference. The classic forms print just fine double sided so I don't understand why these won't. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it? ( I have a Lexmark x2470 all in one if that helps)

Which version?

Are you printing the 1-up, 4-up or png files? Maybe trying a different format will help (like the png files) But if we knew which format you are using, maybe that would help.

Also, just to be sure, you are printing on American or European papers?

I tried both the 1 up on 3x5

I tried both the 1 up on 3x5 index cards and the 4up on letter size paper. No idea what png files are though.

PNGs

the PNG graphic files are just image files like JPEG. You can drop thim into a word processor file or graphics layout file like InDesign or Illustrator (Expensive) or any cheaper variant (like Publisher on Windows) Alternatively, you can even open them in a photo app and print them straight from there. In your instance, printing one-up, I would suggest this method, and print like a photo, borderless on 3x5 cards, and see what happens.

I'm trying to print the png

I'm trying to print the png with a photo editor and they seem to be lining up. I'm just printing the first one(left tab) on both sides. Is that the way its supposed to be , so you can choose where you want the tab or are they supposed to be front and back?

Well...

...they are designed to print one on the front, and the other on the back, but if you like them the way you are doing them, feel free to do it. There's no reason not to! I'm glad, at least, that the png files are working!

Thanks for all the help,

Thanks for all the help, jonglass. The png files work perfectly with the 1-up. I haven't tried 4-up yet but if it doesn't work, its not a big deal. I'm going to stick with what works but its good to know that there is a designated "front" and "back"
