new 3x5 card from Oxford

Yesterday while I was browsing through the office supply section at Walmart I found a new (or, new to me anyway) product. Oxford 3x5 lined cards that are perforated down the center so that, when separated on the perforation, produce two 3x2.5 mini cards. The upper left corner of each mini card is punched and the pack comes with a metal ring to hold the 3x5s together. I searched online for a product photo to share with you all but couldn't find one anywhere. My brain is now whirling with different things to use these for. Has anyone else come across these and started using them?

I've got some

ygor, I have a pack of the cards:

Oxford "Just Flip It" Punched and Perfed Study Cards

There are 75 ruled 3x5 cards. The ring will hold all 150 half cards. Item # 63506 White
Not sure on the price, but I think it was just under $2. (US)
There's a web addy on the cover sheet: www.organizedtolearn.com

last summer when the School supplies were out, I found, at Office Max, a smaller ring with the cards and plastic covers.
These came in different colors (very light shades
0 with the cards colored to match the covers. We got purple, blue and teal. Item # 63507 Assorted

The colored cards in the kid's 'books' have been replenished with the white ones. (Starting them early ;-) )

I found a link with a picture

Here and found other stuff while searching Here, Here, and Here

I took a picture but haven't

I took a picture but haven't had time to load it; we are moving at work and I've been packing my office and lab so no time for much else. I see, though, that someone else found a link to a picture. I paid $1.46 for a pack of 75 of these cards at Walmart. A pack of 100 lined 3x5 index cards at same store is $.46 so quite a bit of difference for the perforations and the ring.

Mini cards rock

I already buy Mead 2.5x3" mini cards and love them for flashcards & most note taking. There's little wasted space and they're comfy to hold. I even got the woodshop guy at work to cut 4x6 cards in half for me. The 2x6 cards are a perfect size for the router commands I'm learning. I drill holes in most of my index cards for ring mounting.

I'm testing if perforating a task like ala post-it flags finally allows me to carry over todos without rewriting. The list goes in a bookmark pouch for my rolla-deck. I've tried a laminated card and overhead pen, but I'm just too lazy to update Outlook daily and like having hard copy record.

I uploaded two pix

that I took of teh perforated cards in case anybody wants to see the package open.
