Covey personal

My wife uses the personal size ( I will not go into the story of classic to personal ... matching purses ... I just love her a lot), and last year we ordered their "personalized" pages ( $12.00 more than regulars at the time) which are really really really nice?.
I recently retired my Tungsten E, and my Blackberry is really an odd shaped phone - with a calculator, and she likes the DIY forms I have been using. I am just trying to get the right setup or any tips from anyone else that may have made the Personal size work for them.

Thanks
Andre

Andre, I'm not sure which size you mean. FC's "pocket" size is 3.5x6", "compact" is 4.25x6.75".

I used the compact size for a long time (and I started with it because Franklin Quest had a purse that had a built-in binder on one side). Because it was a weird size to cut down to (and because I was anal and it bugged me when the pages didn't line up right), I bought packs of FC's blank pages and printed my own forms. (For the most part, my HP inkjet didn't mind the strange size paper.) I didn't find that the pre-designed sections/forms worked that well for me, so I ended up throwing a lot of them away and replacing them with my own DIY forms.

For compact-sized pages, you should be able to shrink the classic DIY forms by 75% or so to get them to fit. Or design ones specifically for her needs-- for years, I made most of my own custom forms in MS Word.

Working on it...

I am working on software to create pre-dated pages and other forms.

I believe I can set it up to do any page size (within reason).

Do you have any software development skills ?

Laura you are right on the name, the pages are 4.75 x 6.75 (small) very good tip, that will definately help

ygor, I am not a developer, but have been playing around with OO draw. I think some sllick macros may be key for people since OO is cross platform and priced just right.

Andre, I am in the process of switching over to a classic-sized circa-punched planner. I have a TON of FC pages (lined and blank), dividers, etc. A lot of the packages have never been opened (and the ones that have were stored in the FC storage binder).

I'm out of town right now, but when I get home, I'll take an inventory of what I've got. If you're interested in any of it, I'll sell it to you (or anyone else who may be interested) for a nominal charge + actual USPS shipping. (I should probably post this over in the bazaar forum, actually.)
