January 2007 Daily 2-page forms
This package is a prototype of the compact (4.25"x6.75") 2-page-per day format of daily pages, designed in the theme of the DIY planner designed by Douglas Johnston. The second page is a right-handed daily journal page, to be
printed on the front of as many sheets as are required for the month. The subsequent pages are left-handed daily schedule and task pages dated respectively for each day of this month. They contain the date, weekday, and year; they also have mini-monthly calendars for the present month as well as the previous and following months. In addition, each day gives the phase of the moon and may note a special holiday or observance.

Print as many copies of page 2 as needed for an entire month's worth of daily journal entries. Then print pages 3-33 on the backs of those printed pages. You will need one extra page for the last day of the month; I recommend printing out 2-page-per-day monthly calendars as well (also available in the User Templates directory) and printing the Daily Journal for 31 January on the blank side of the left-handed page of February's monthly layout. (So you'd see a daily layout for 31 January identical to the rest of the days; when you flip the page, there's the two-page February monthly spread. This can also be done at the beginning of the January pages: on the back of the January monthly calendar, print the daily schedule for 1 January.)

Nice work!
Wow, this is really nice work. It's nice to see this size getting some attention.
What's really cool is if you scroll quickly through the pages in your PDF reader, you can see the moon phases go by -- fun!

The moon !! Look at the moon !!
Very nice form.
Where are you getting your moon data ?

Thanks
Awesome template. Thanks so much for doing something with this size.
question
Hi,
Your template is very well designed, I really really liked it. I am new to this. Could you please advice me how to print the planner for the rest of the year? Thanks you.
One Piece at a Time,,,
Hi Mallin
Welcome to D*I*Y. From what I understand Liam has created January as a prototype for us (the D*I*Y community) to test and leave feedback. Obviously he has made too good a job and everyone is hungry for the rest of the year. Let us hope he posts more soon. :)
Left or right-handed layout?
My only comment is that it seems backwards to me--but I don't know why! Maybe it's my Daytimer® heritage or something.... I guess it would matter what side you did the bulk of your writing on. Can this thing be swapped the other way? I tried looking at the pdf, and I couldn't get my brain wrapped around it. ;-) Maybe it could be... (and yes, I'm a leftie)
-Jon
Swap.
Hi.
You're looking at a right handed layout. In this file, the holes go on the edges and you have to slice the middle if you print it double-sided.

My eyes are opened!
I see it now... the wider margins on the outside... duh. I should have noticed that before. Thanks!
February's???
Lima--
could you, or rather are you, create the dailys of February, please? Pretty Please?
lima???
Where are you,Lima? I, personally hope and pray you well and I'm probably not alone, in this sentiment. Just give a blip [in my 'dictionary' a tiny post], somewhere within DIY.
2008
This is a great format! Is there a template for 2008 as well? Stephen Covey should pay you for this design.

Yes, but reversed
Over here.
I plan to add a Swap Sides" control in the near future.

Moon
Please tell me how you got your moon phase integrated so seemlessly into your pages. Where did you get your graphics?
