Welcome to the Bazaar

The Bazaar is a new marketplace forum for our community members to hawk their wares, or find items that can help them to be more productive or more creative. If you have a planner, book, pen, PDA, or kit that you want to sell, simply create a new post and list it here. Likewise, if you're looking for something, leave a post to see if a seller or retailer can meet your request.

Some very simple rules:

  1. Use the standard prefixes for your post: "FS:" means "for sale", and "WTB:" means "wanted to buy." Other topics, such as "free for the cost of shipping" can be stated explicitly.

  2. Be as specific as possible. The more details you provide, the more likely you'll find a buyer or seller. Provide a link to a webpage for more details or pictures, if possible, and be sure to mention the condition of the product.

  3. This is not a place for mass commercial sales, spam, marketing schemes, or irrelevant postings. These will be deleted, no questions asked.

  4. Relevant postings means that they are related to planning, productivity, creativity, or similar topics. Anything else does not fit into our site mission, and will be deleted.

  5. Whether you're buying or selling, please state your regional location. Remember, we are an international community. A binder for sale in Vancouver, Canada, will likely be quite costly to ship to New Zealand.

  6. If you don't want to include your contact information in the posting, please enable your site contact form. All site members can activate this in their account preferences. People can then use this form to send you email, so your address remains hidden.

  7. Don't be afraid to mention retailers and other sources to those people looking for products. Give a website address, if possible.

  8. For those people not afraid of newsreaders, there is an XML feed that you can use to track new items and requests. See the main forum page.

  9. If you're selling, mention appropriate methods of payment. Many sellers prefer credit cards or PayPal, but others are fine with money orders, e-checks, bank drafts, or regular cheques (which may take some time to clear).

  10. Caveat emptor: let the buyer beware. DIYPlanner.com takes no responsibility for items listed here. Most people are responsible adults, but some aren't. Only purchase items from those you trust, and always be careful in giving out financial or other personal information. This site serves simply as a way to bring buyers and sellers together, and is in no legal position to offer guarantees, advice, mitigation between individuals, or legal/financial recourse. Think of this like a "buy and sell" in your local paper.

Good luck, my friends, and may you find what you're looking for in The Bazaar.
