This is a great tracker.

This is a great tracker. But you're right--the space for notations is small. It would be perfect with half the lines/twice the space.

Thanks so much for making

Thanks so much for making this tracker available. I just joined WW yesterday, and they neglected to give me a tracker. I don't know how I would have gotten through the next week without one. Thankfully, I did an image search for "point tracker" and this popped up first thing. It looks like the perfect format. Time to start logging in my success...
Thank you again!

Thank you for the template. I just left a meeting and I was so upset that I had forgot to grab a weekly log. I felt i wouldn't hold myself accountable if I didn't have it. So this was a life saver to find!

I'm wondering if you could

I'm wondering if you could change some of the text on this template so that instead of just using it to plan for dinner I could use it to plan for breakfast, lunch and dinner (maybe 1 line for breakfast, 1 for lunch and the last 3 for dinner). I'm a college student living in an apartment and I've found that if I don't plan out what I'm going to eat I end up eating the same junk food all the time.

Thanks, keeping a track works

I have been noting down what I eat everyday and I also have a calorie chart with me, but this surely is a great format as I was noting down on a plain piece of paper. This organizes it well. I am on a weight loss program and I want to make this a habit of calorie intake watch for lifetime.

Living for Leftovers

Hi Gordman,
Yes - at first glance living from leftovers does sound like an exercise in excess. However, for me at least, leftovers form the cornerstone of my lunches. I try to freeze at least one portion from every meal I make with the intent of eating it in the future for lunch. I need to build a small reserve of these frozen treats because I don't cook every night. Sure I can substitute some days with wraps or sandwiches; but I love variety and leftovers allow me to have a wider variety of choices.

So you see, I actually do buy the right quantities -- because I want leftovers; either for lunch or for a great (and easy) supper. And because I want a few days between when I make the food and when I eat it for lunch - it's best if I keep it written down somewhere. That plus labeling my leftovers helps me avoid throwing out something I can't identify that's overly freezer-burned and been in my freezer far too long.

Your link doesn't really make sense to me, to which part of that site did you want to refer?

UCE

Yup, spam. Had this been emailed to me privately I'd have considered it as UCE (unsolicited commerical email), which in my view is just as much of a nuicance as spam. Would fail on prime requirement number one for a software product: does the product run on more than the program loader called Windows? It might get a second chance if it runs on Linux or Mac OS X? But it'd still be consigned to the recycling bin as UCE. Though Windows-only makes it spam.

This matrix "scares" me, I

This matrix "scares" me, I can't live such a controlled life, it's too much for me. OK, I understand the the freezer necessity but I think this is all too much bother. You could better manage to measure the food you eat in a month and buy the right quantities. Refrigerator parts could easily solve this problem without the matrix. Anyway, I appreciate your structured thinking.

"on topic" spam ?!

I agree.
I could accept one on-topic plug, but two is not necessary.
It could be more acceptable if the product got better reviews :)

SPAM or spam?

It would be difficult to get SPAM down the wire; SPAM are rather protective of their trademark. ;-)

I considered the double-postings spam (sic) too, which is why I was so critical of the product. But then so were the reviewers at TUCOWS who gave it several scores of "1 out of 3" and a comment improved --- the original version must have been spectacularly awful.

However, this was the first on-topic spam posting I've ever encountered. I'll give them that; so much better than the usual chinese shoe shops or bogus drugs that we receive.
