"GTD" and Getting Things Done are references to the excellent organisational system and book by David Allen. Note also that the implementation of the methods outlined in this document are inspired by his system, but are not necessarily representative of it. If you are interested in using these templates or following these instructions, and are unfamiliar with GTD, please buy the book and learn the methodologies for yourself, then come back to this package and use whatever is suitable for your personal situation. Likewise, certain templates are based upon the writings of Stephen R. Covey, and especially The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and First Things First: if you wish to make the most out of those templates, I highly recommend buying these books. (See the Essential Links section to purchase them at Amazon.com.)
