Didn't know all of this was going on behind the scenes. That explains why Staples pulled all of its disc binding stuff so quick.

It seems there should be a manufacturer out there who can make the modest cost books and products in an efficient manner. I love Levenger and bought their punch and notebook kit to get started with Circa but did buy some discs from Rollabind about a year or so ago and got them pretty quickly.

I think both could co-exist and mutually benefit each other but it sounds like the Feldmans need to sell the business and let someone who's a bit more skilled in manufacturing systems take care of making the products. FYI..The Levenger punch has worked great for me. I love it. I just hope I can buy more discs when I need them and not have to pay a premium for them.

Very old news

Two years old to be precise.
Rollabind is digging a deep hole for itself.
Example: http://rollapunch.com/
If I were going to buy

If I were going to buy Rollabind products, I'd do it through a third party.

Here is an interesting document that may explain some of the problems people have had with Rollabind. It is a legal ruling in PDF form...

Lots of prayer required....

I have an outstanding / unfilled order from Rollabind for the frosted covers. You need the patience of Job to get them. The say they will ship, but they don't. You leave a message, and sometimes they will call you back. Repeat, ad nauseum.

My advice is to cancel the order, and order from Levenger when they send out a really good coupon deal like 20% off with no minimums.
Where else to get covers

1. Levengers sells frosted covers, both the clear and colored. Clear comes in set of 2, colored comes in set of 5, I believe. Fairly reasonable prices, especially for Levengers. Also, Ygor gave us a link to a 20% off sale, no minimum, they are currently running (through Sunday). Look under Circa Accessories.

2. Every year, Levengers sells the current year planners that didn't sell for about $3. If they still have any of these, buy them just for the covers and discs. Again, the 20% off sale would sweeten that even more.

3. If you have the circa punch, buy any stiff plastic report cover you like, cut it to the size of notebook you want and punch it. If you want a more flexible notebook (feels more like a magazine than a book), choose flexible plastic report covers and do the same.

I got anxious. I concede I should have waited.

Now if I must cancel this order, which I will if it is not processed quickly. Where can I get frosted translucent covers?

Why post a request for advise and then place the order within 30 minutes of posting the advise request ?

Rollabind has repeatedly demonstrated a serious (lack of) supply problem.
Their customer (dis)service is reported to ignore phone and e-mail pleading.

My prayers are with you.
Good luck.

Just missed you wish I had read that before ordering!

I think I will call their office after lunch to make certain they actually act on the order.

you are more likely to actually get it from Levenger's and I posted a 20% off code here
