Here

Sadly, it is not adjustable.

adjustable cut settings. The CardMate's cut settings are not adjustable. The rear slot is 3 blades, 3.5 inches apart and the front slot is 6 blades, 2 inches apart.

The gadget I recall had adjustable blade settings, and it was marketed as a craft/scrapbook item.

As for the linking, look here: DIYPlanner's War on Spam
I will be happy to add you to the "notaspammer" ranks so that you can post links.

No I dont remember it but I use Yahoo as I went through a phase when Google froze my browser.

Was it along the lines of the CardMate business card slitter? The web page I found was on copyfinishing dot com (Ygor I have mastered the link thing but it then says it's spam and you have to release it so I figure you'll just google it anyway :-)

Google is USELESS...

(made ya look !!)
...when you do not have a specific term to search with.

I'm looking for a gadget I think I saw mentioned here somewhere.
Tabletop item you feed paper into and then crank on a handle at one end. It has (I think) rotary blades set in parallel which produces strips of paper coming out. Turn them 90 degrees and you have cards.

Anyone remember that one ?
