Thanks for the clarification. I am not a programmer, but I am interested in what types of things are in the "pipeline"

iCal , Apple's calendar program, no
iCalendar, the file format, yes, I am planning to add that, but I have other things in "the pipeline". If anyone wants to help with the coding, I can make a specific request/assignment.

I'm having the same problem. I have clicked on every link I can find on this page and I just keep reloading the same page!

Exactly where "at the top of the page" is the link for the calendars? Can you describe it's location or what it says--any type of identifiable characteristics?

More page sizes would be wonderful

There are about 14 different page sizes available in the programs, but not the one that fits into my Filofax (95 mm x 171 mm = 3,75 x 6,75 inches). Would it be possible to add it, please?

Edit: just opened the pre-TNG to see what it is like. Obviously ygor was aware of this wish already - I just have to wait for TNG to be ready. Wonderful, thanks!

Thanks, linux printer solution, and a question

Thank you for making such a great contribution to the community! This is just what I always wanted the DIY templates to be! When the iCal import is done it will be perfect.

I have been printing Hipster editions using the linux version of the templates - after some fiddling probably caused by mediocre support for my printer under linux, everything worked fine (Running Ubuntu 7.10, using the Foomatic/hpijs drivers with a HP LaserJet 1320). For other peoples sake, here is a workaround it your printer does not have built-in 3x5 paper size in it's driver. If there is no 3x5 paper size in the "paper size" dialog, just select print, change the page size in the printer preferences (there is one for 3x5 and 4x6, but you could also use custom), select print, and then cancel the print job. The Paper setup dialog will have an empty box, but it will really be set to 3x5's. You can then print out your templates, formatted to 3x5.

Lastly, two questions. What license is the code released under (can others contribute under some sort of open source license)?

Are you planing on releasing a dynamic template for the "one page per week" template? A fortnight per double-sided card is really useful for the hipster, as I can fit a month on two cards, and can carry most of the year in my stack.

Thanks again,
JamesH

Dynamic Templates

These templates are generated dynamically from various applications, and so can be changed or manipulated by programs as noted.

Note: "deprecated" refers to software features that are superseded and should be avoided
