You guys totally rock for creating and maintaining this great website that has been a godsend for me ('cause it's all about me ;) I love, love, love the letter size planner package. Will you be updating the letter size planner pack with a 2009 calendar (I only need the 2009 monthly pages and a 2-page year layout)? If I could figure out how to do it for myself, I wouldn't be bothering you. Thanks so much for the service you provide :)

Your day keeper page is perfect, or would be with one small change. The column for actions--can you make it like 2/3 actions i.e. "to dos" and 1/3 "To contact". This would be great for us GTDers.

I silently screamed at my computer when I saw what you had created. I have 'frankenstiened' my own planner together for years now, and cringed at tweaking another for my new job. I am a former graphic designer, and I must say... excellent work! I knew there was someone smarter than me to create these forms.

I have a suggestion for modifying the 'Actions' list on the DayKeeper pages.

Adding 'Time' and 'Priority' fields would be killer!!

Yearly planning and academic year

I found very useful the templates provided in this pack, but I have a request.

Could you make a template just like the academic year planner, for a calendar year? Like January to December? As I'm from Chile, my academic year (and probably for everyone that lives in the southern hemisphere) corresponds with the calendar year.

How far in?

I use pre-punched paper at work, and the inside edge of the hole is about 0.5" into the paper, and the portable punch that I have puts it in just about the same place. I figured that 1.25" should leave plenty of space; a hole that far in would interfere with a facing pages on anything less than a 1.5" binder.

Thank you for a fantastic mix of calendars. I have one small suggestion for future versions. Have a wider margin for the inside edge if possible. Using a regular three-hole punch intrudes into the print area. Still very usable but makes writing close to the rings difficult.

The DIYPlanner.com team is very pleased to announce our first templates in Letter and A4 size: The D*I*Y Planner Calendar Package 2.5, Letter/A4 Edition.

Included here are all the templates from the Classic Calendar package, including:

Day Keepers, marked and unmarked
Weekly planners, in five different styles
Unmarked monthly planners, in both Sun-Sat and Mon-Sun weeks
Marked monthly planners, Sept 2005 - Dec 2006, Sun-Sat (my head is still spinning)
Yearly Reference, 2005-2006
Yearly Planning, 2005-2006 Academic Year (Aug 2005 - Jul 2006)

Almost 60 pages in all, designed to fit your Letter- or A4-size planner.

These templates are based on the Classic size templates by Douglas Johnston and ported to Letter/A4 by me, eric Farris. I have tried to make these templates utilize the added space of the new size and formatting as effectively as possible: it's not just simple resizing of the Classic templates, but rather a complete overhaul for the new layouts.

These templates should be considered a draft release in preparation for the final release of D*I*Y Planner 3.0 and thus formatting and design may change somewhat. Please let me know of any problems you find or suggestions you may have regarding this release.

As with the Classic edition, this is released under the terms of a Creative Commons Non-Commercial No-Derivatives License (see the legalese), which means mainly that you can't commercially print or distribute it. (Personal use within a commercial environment is fine.)
